Sports betting has long been part of the entertainment culture for many Malaysians, especially among football and badminton fans. The platform v98 takes a different approach — not merely providing a standard betting platform, but building an experience that truly understands the needs of local users. From sports selection and interface language to payment methods, everything is tailored specifically for Malaysian users.
Based on platform usage patterns, the English Premier League (EPL) remains the most popular football betting choice among users v98. This is followed by the UEFA Champions League, Spanish La Liga, and local leagues such as the Malaysia Super League. A standout feature of v98 is the availability of markets for Malaysia Super League and FA Cup Malaysia matches — something rarely offered by other international platforms.
For badminton fans — Malaysia's national sport — v98 provides full coverage of BWF World Tour, Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, and BWF World Championships. You can bet on match winners, set scores, total points, and a variety of other market options for every match.
Your Data Security: All your betting activity at v98 is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption. Your account information and betting history are private and secured in accordance with v98 Privacy Policy.
The live betting feature at v98 allows you to place bets while a match is in progress. This is an increasingly popular way to bet as it lets users make decisions based on what they see happening on the pitch, rather than relying solely on pre-match analysis.
One of the key advantages of live betting at v98 is the speed of odds updates — in-match events such as goals, red cards, or player injuries are immediately reflected in the displayed odds. You can capitalise on these situations quickly using a responsive and easy-to-use interface.
V98 uses the Decimal Odds format, which is the easiest to understand. For example, if the odds for Man City to win are 1.85, it means every RM1 you wager will return RM1.85 if your bet wins — including your original stake. Your net profit is RM0.85 for every RM1 wagered.
For a parlay or accumulator, the odds from each selected bet are multiplied together. This means if you are correct on all selections, your wins can be significantly larger than a single bet. However, the risk is higher because one wrong selection will void the entire parlay ticket.
v98 prioritizes user well-being. The platform provides self-control tools that let you set daily or weekly betting limits, loss limits, and cool-off periods from the platform. This is part of v98's commitment to responsible gaming.
Betting should be an entertainment activity, not a source of financial stress. We encourage all users to set a budget they are comfortable losing, avoid chasing losses, and take regular breaks. If you feel your betting activity is starting to affect your daily life, use the self-exclusion feature in your account settings.
The v98 mobile app is the best choice for sports betting, offering real-time notifications for odds changes, live scores, and match results. You won't miss any betting opportunity even when you're on the go. The app is available for Android and iOS, with an interface optimised for mobile screens.
Every feature available on desktop is fully accessible in the app — from viewing odds and placing bets to managing your account and making Deposit and withdrawal. A consistent experience across all devices is one of the core strengths of the v98 platform.
